Why there is no reconstructed bait list
A fishing report should document what the angler actually observed: the time period, water and weather context, productive cover or depth, presentation, and enough detail to distinguish that outing from generic seasonal advice. The saved WordPress text did not contain those facts.
Adding a newly generated “top baits” section years later would rewrite the historical record. The video remains the primary source for whatever Captain Erik shared at the time.
